At BMG & Associates, our mission is twofold: firstly, to introduce the game “Overpower” to a new generation of gamers; and secondly, to foster a vibrant and diverse play community that encourages both socialization and friendly competition among enthusiasts.
Our commitment to achieving these goals officially and in a manner that respects national and international intellectual property laws regarding trademarks and copyrights is not just a practical matter for us as a growing business, but also a demonstration of our deep respect for the writers and artists who have passionately created the characters and worlds that we hold dear.
To better serve these ambitions, we’re excited to share that our business has undergone significant growth. We’ve expanded our team, now led by a dedicated President, and have introduced a legal department to ensure we navigate this intricate landscape with precision.
Moreover, we’ve taken steps to facilitate and enhance our community’s gaming experience by developing a comprehensive tournament guide and code of conduct, which we believe will further unite and elevate our play community as great ambassadors for the game.
We also acknowledge the creative spirit within our community and understand the desire to contribute. While we wholeheartedly support creativity, we must also uphold the boundaries set by intellectual property laws. Our aim is not to stifle creativity, but rather to ensure that any derivative content aligns with our trademark and copyright policies and respects the rights of the many artists whom we admire and wish to collaborate with for the future of the game. The path to this official reboot will soon be realized, and it will be realized through commercially viable product containing art and content that is officially licensed, commissioned, or created with artists, authors, and IP holders properly compensated.
